I need help. I am a novice with Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Surprised My first job is my kitchen. I am a good finish carpenter so my job turned out very well. The problem I am having is getting the finish to pop when I top polish. I have followed all the instructions at least half a dozen times. I get it 99% there but it still looks a bit cloudy at a certain angle. It seems like only certain Stone (http://g603.net) s are hazy. I guess it is good enough but I am obsessed with getting it right. I have tried powder and (http://maplered.com) ager but still not perfect. I'm getting frustrated! I have spent countless hours on just one seam. I know I can get it eventually but need to know if there are any tricks with Tan Brown. I might just call someone to do it and (http://maplered.com) learn that way. It doesn't seem like rocket science though. Polish wet to dry. I even tried going through all the grits to 3000. At 3000 wet to dry is pretty good. When I use the buff it doesn't improve over the 3000 much if any. I'm thinking that the prefab Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) I am working with were treated with something to give it the mirror finish. When I wet it the water doesn't soak in so it may have some sealer on it with a color enhancer. I don't know, I'm guessing. Any thoughts out there??? Shocked BTW, no more 2cm prefab, 3cm slab from here on Laughing
